* Okay so I'm going to preface this with I've been on the search for the perfect laptop/Chromebook something portable and takes up minimal space for my other half. I did research and this was in the top 10 it said blizzard white which he likes so I pulled the trigger. When we got it the box says blizzard white but when he opened it the color was abyss blue and looked like a different model. He still loves it.
I will update you when he uses it to see if there are any issues or likes or dislikes.
It was very disappointing to me that he got the wrong color. I am not sure if the model number is even correct as what the box was saying it should be. I will update you if I can find the Chromebook's box.
What could cause the wrong item to get in the box when it has the right name listed on it?
* Lenovo has much better build quality than some of the other cheaper devices in this class. This is my first Chromebook. I have to say I am impressed with the amount of actual work you can do with this thing. It is VERY versatile. The performance is above average. Being able to run Linux with ChromeOS is a huge bonus. If you a former sysadmin you might want to consider this for a utility. The battery life is fantastic. The performance is good. Switching between tablet and laptop mode is a breeze. Very happy with this product.
* I wish I didn't gift this to my 11 yo, lol!! It is such an excellent little machine. Great screen quality for picture and clarity, even side viewing. She plays Roblox on it and Toca Boca World - it runs all other apps perfectly and way better than my IdeaPad 3 (2022) - that's the difference in price points. We use this for homeschooling, gaming (as mentioned above), and general viewing apps such as Netflix, Disney+, and of course Amazon browsing. The touchscreen is worth the price point. Still has a few more years of Chrome OS updates.
